Wuhan is a national historical and cultural city with a history of 3,500 years, and it is the origin of the civilization of the Yangtze River flowing through the city. As a comprehensive transport hub at home and abroad, Wuhan is an important base and trade logistics center for China’s manufacturing, high-tech and cultural industries. The Wuhan Industrial Design Association was established in 2013, with the main function of promoting Wuhan’s industrial design industry to “Connect with Industry, Radiate the Central Region and Bring in line with the World”. Focus on the new models and modes of global design innovation, promote industry exchanges and cooperation, guide industrial design to play its innovation-driven and leading role, promote the integration of industrial design with all related industries, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, so as realize the professional, international and brand-oriented development of Wuhan industrial design, and build a new system and pattern of open and export-oriented development of industrial design.
