Wang Zhengpu, the deputy secretary of the provincial Party committee and the governor of Hebei Province, attended the GIDA 2022 Award Ceremony and granted the Best of Best Awards to the winners. Zhang Guohua, the member of Hebei Provincial Standing Committee, vice governor of the Hebei Provincial Government, secretary of CPC Working Committee and the director of Administrative Committee of Xiongan New Area, awarded the Gold Award for the Best Green Design to the winners and made a speech. Meanwhile, Hu Qisheng, the vice governor of Hebei Province, and He Renke, the professor and PhD supervisor of the School of Design of Hunan University, delivered speeches at the ceremony. David Kusuma, the foreign president of GIDA and the president of WDO, gave his address through an online video link.

During the 2022 Award Ceremony and Design Sleepless Night, the GIDA committee also kicked off the 2023 GIDA, calling for entries from all around the world, including noted industrial design institutions, companies, teams, and independent designers. The calling is expected to further improve GIDA's international influence, enhance brand value and achieve the prospect of “Global Design, Xiongan Release.”
