PhD from Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Associate Professor, Vice Dean of the School of Digital Media & Design Arts, and Lead of Discipline Development for Design Studies at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Recipient of the "Xiaomi Young Scholar" Program. His research covers digital-intelligent design, smart product design, and digital revitalization of traditional culture.

He undertakes national, provincial and university-enterprise cooperation projects, and took the lead in establishing the "Off-campus Talent Training Base for Innovative Smart Product Design". He acts as jury expert for Golden Reed Industrial Design Award, expert committee member of the "Casting Foundation Program" of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, editorial board member of Fashion Technology, and reviewer for many renowned international journals and conferences. He has published high-level papers indexed by CCF-A, A&HCI and CSSCI. His representative works have won Red Dot Best of the Best Award, iF Design Award and Japan Good Design Award.
