PhD in Industrial Design. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in the fields of age-friendly design and product-service system design. He serves as an expert for discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Member of Industrial Design Sub-Committee of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. He won the Second Prize of Tianjin Outstanding Social Science Achievement Award, together with more than 20 international design awards including Red Dot and iF Design Awards.
