Born in Anxin County, Hebei Province (now Xiong'an New Area), she currently serves as Associate Professor at Hebei Normal University. She leads the university-enterprise cooperation project team Clothing, Plant Dyeing & Textiles. Her plant-dyed leather and costume works have been exhibited at major expos including China International Fashion Fair and China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair, Shanghai). She has published monographs including Handmade Printing & Dyeing Art: Contemporary Expression of Chinese Traditional Aesthetics and Plant Dyeing Garment Design.
