When traditional industries meet innovative design
When manufacturing strengths collide with creative power
An in‑depth dialogue on transformation and breakthrough
Is set to unfold in Xiong’an New Area

Hebei International Industrial Design Week (HIDW) has been successfully held for 8 consecutive years. It has staged more than 240 design matchmaking sessions, connected over 1,700 cluster enterprises across Hebei with targeted supply‑demand channels, and delivered a host of outstanding design achievements for local implementation. The ripple effect of industrial design in boosting industrial growth keeps expanding.
At present, Hebei’s light‑industrial clusters stand at a critical stage of transformation and upgrading. Faced with dual pressures of consumption upgrading and market segmentation, enterprises have growing demands for fashion‑driven product design, brand building and online‑oriented renovation.
September 21
As a flagship session of 2026 Hebei International Industrial Design Week, the Industry × Design Matchmaking Event targets common challenges confronting Hebei’s consumer‑oriented light‑industry clusters, including bicycles & children’s bikes, luggage and food sectors. It leverages fashion design to elevate product aesthetics and brand design to build complete value systems, charting a new course for industrial upgrading through dual‑driven growth.

Fashion design fuels product renewal and market breakthrough. It helps businesses shift from mere functional supply to aesthetic‑led development, and from copycat followership to trend‑setting leadership. By decoding trends, renewing appearances and optimizing user experience, design endows products with stronger visual appeal and emotional resonance, enabling enterprises to stand out from homogeneous competition and translate design capability into tangible product competitiveness.

This session focuses on product styling, trend forecasting and user experience. Distinguished representatives from home and abroad will share cutting‑edge theories and real‑world cases, including the Milan Fashion & Design Association, Jiangnan University School of Design, Thailand’s Blue‑Black‑Orange Design Studio and Farmgroup Creative Consultancy. An on‑site networking segment will follow to efficiently connect design resources with industrial demands.
