On September 12, 2026, the final evaluation of the Main Competition of the 7th Goldreed Industrial Design Award (hereinafter referred to as "Goldreed Award") was successfully completed at the Green Building Exhibition Center in Xiong'an New Area. The final judging panel consists of 9 authoritative industry experts from home and abroad. After multiple rounds of careful review and comprehensive evaluation by the expert group, under the full supervision of notaries from the notary public office, the final winning list of the Main Competition of this event has been fully determined.

Before the opening of the Final Evaluation Briefing Session, the judging panel arrived at the site to inspect the shortlisted entries on site. Afterwards, the Final Evaluation Briefing Session for the Main Competition of the 7th Goldreed Industrial Design Award officially kicked off. She extended a warm welcome to the judging experts present and thanked all participants for their strong support and hard work for the competition.

Subsequently, the host introduced the final defense agenda to the jury, and demonstrated the full operation of the judging system on-site, clarifying operation specifications including offline Q&A and online scoring, to ensure all judges are familiar with the workflow so that the judging can proceed efficiently and in a standardized manner.

Final Defense & Review

The final defense was carried out in three orderly stages. 40 participating representatives took the stage one by one to present their design works and complete on-site defense. The judging experts listened carefully and raised on-site inquiries about the design proposals. Finally, comprehensive scoring was conducted based on physical works and defense performance.

The final evaluation strictly follows the founding purpose of the Goldreed Industrial Design Award, adheres to the design philosophy of "Harmony and Coexistence", and practices the vision of the competition: "Discover Future Design, Inspire Future Life, Empower Future Cities". Based on the three dimensions of production, life and ecology, the judging panel adopts five evaluation criteria: innovation, human-centered design, aesthetics, commercial value and sustainability. Abiding by the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, the panel conducts comprehensive assessment and prudent scoring from multiple dimensions including physical quality of works and defense performance.

Expert Seminar

Upon the conclusion of the defense session, the expert judging seminar commenced immediately. The judging panel conducted in-depth analysis of the 40 global shortlisted works. On the basis of international professional judging standards, the panel focused on the core guideline of the competition: "Promote industry through competition, realize result application". The experts took into account the innovation level, cultural heritage and global vision of the works, and focused on evaluating the industrial adaptability and market transformation potential of design solutions. Every shortlisted work was carefully studied and fully discussed, and the winning list of the Main Competition was finalized. The award results will be officially announced at the award ceremony of the 7th Goldreed Industrial Design Award on September 21. Goldreed will continue to mobilize global design resources to empower the construction of Xiong'an and connect manufacturing industries in Hebei, forming an innovation loop of "Global Design · Xiong'an Release · Hebei Manufacturing".
